Dental implants in Bogotá, Colombia
If you need to replace one tooth, several teeth or a full arch, you can begin with a clinical assessment in Bogotá. Dr. Johanna Calderón and Dr. Rodrigo Orozco participate in care in Bogotá, according to the clinical plan. The examination determines which implant and prosthetic options fit your situation.
Dental implant options in Bogotá
The appropriate technique depends on the number of missing teeth, gum and bone health, bite and medical history. An in-person assessment defines the plan.
Conventional dental implants
For one or several missing teeth, the team assesses whether implants with crowns or bridges are appropriate.
Strategic dental implants
Strategic corticobasal implants may rehabilitate many patients with severe bone loss without prior grafting, including people previously told they had no options. Confirm the protocol and office when booking.
All-on-4 and All-on-6
Options for a full arch or full-mouth rehabilitation. Each arch needs its own clinical plan and budget.
Conventional and strategic implants: a visual comparison
This infographic illustrates differences in design, treatment stages and maintenance. Your treatment choice requires an individual assessment.
The conventional two-piece design joins an implant to a separate abutment. The one-piece strategic or corticobasal approach uses different anchorage and prosthetic planning. For many patients with substantial bone loss, it may avoid prior bone grafts. Examination and imaging determine whether a fixed initial restoration is possible, its timing and the maintenance required.

Dental implant care in Bogotá
Three offices in northern Bogotá make it possible to organize the consultation and later reviews. Confirm the clinician and office for each stage when booking.
Conventional and strategic implants involve different planning. A temporary fixed prosthesis may be loaded early if implant stability permits it. Early loading is not a promise that the definitive teeth will be delivered the same day.
How to start your assessment
1. Consultation
Tell the team what teeth are missing, what is bothering you and what you hope to achieve. The clinician reviews your oral health, bite and relevant medical history.
2. Imaging and plan
Available dental records are reviewed and further studies are requested as needed. You receive an explanation of options, procedures, prosthetic materials and stages.
3. Individual estimate
The proposal identifies included procedures, expected visits and costs. Ask the team to clarify any additional surgery and the difference between temporary and final restorations.
4. Treatment and reviews
Once you approve the plan, visits for surgery and restoration are arranged. Reviews monitor healing, function, hygiene and maintenance.
Dental implant costs in Bogotá
Costs vary with the number of implants, surgical needs, crown or prosthesis material and additional procedures. A quote for one implant cannot be compared directly with a full-arch plan. Starting from another country
You can contact the team and share any existing dental records for initial guidance. You do not need a 3D scan just to make first contact. A remote review does not replace an in-person examination or guarantee a technique, price or timeline. Ask for the office and provisional schedule before purchasing flights.
Common questions
Can an implant be placed at the first appointment?
The initial visit is for assessment and planning. Surgery is arranged once the necessary examination and studies have been completed.
Will I need a bone graft if I have little bone?
Strategic corticobasal implantology can be an option for many patients with an atrophic jaw, including those previously told implants were not possible. Our protocol can avoid prior bone grafts. A clinical assessment and imaging determine whether it is appropriate for you.
Are monophase implants the same as strategic or corticobasal implants?
In our clinical protocol, yes. We use these terms for one-piece implants anchored in cortical bone. Your anatomy and prosthetic plan determine the exact approach.
Can I have implants and fixed crowns in 24 hours?
Yes, when the case qualifies, strategic corticobasal implants can be placed and an initial fixed crown or bridge delivered approximately 24 hours later, without prior bone grafts. A minimally invasive approach is used when anatomy allows; implant placement remains surgery. A full arch may need 48–72 hours, and the final prosthesis may be a later stage.
When will my final teeth be ready?
The schedule depends on implant stability, healing, technique and prosthetic material. A provisional restoration is different from the final one.
